I have a few friends coming to ask me how the Millionaire Mind Intensive weekend was. What did I learn from it and what was the message. I have so much to tell them that I donāt know where to start. I feel like I can talk about it for hours yet I do not want to spoil it for them, especially when they have yet to attend one before.
Truth be told, I was tongue-tied. How do I summarise the essence without spoiling their future experience? How do I share enough for them to learn something to implement and not give it all away? The last thing Iāll want is for them to attend the Millionaire Mind Intensive with tinted perspective, my perspective.
So, I guess the simplest & most straight forward way will be to summarise in a matter of fact fashion via an entry in my website. This way, folks who have attended the Millionaire Mind Intensive and happen to drop by can also chip in š
The Millionaire Mind Intensive primarily focuses on reconfiguring our money blueprint for success while equipping us with a couple of easy-to-adopt systems in money management:
1. Be aware of any non-empowering beliefs e.g. money is the root of all evil, rich people are snobbish, etc.
2. Understand that these limiting beliefs are directly related to our wealth thermometer.
3. Wealth zone is directly proportional to our comfort zone.
4. Thoughts lead to Feelings & Action giving us the Results.
5. Reasons or Results.
6. Go through the finish line.
7. Success breeds success.
8. Keep taking action.
9. Momentum.
10. Fear is the anticipation of pain.
11. Nothing has meaning except for the meaning we give it.
12. Engage all our senses to enhance learning ā Visual, Auditory, Kinesthetic and Spirit.
13. Cultivate the habit of managing our money.
14. Categorise our money by % for different functions & be disciplined in maintaining the categories.
15. Develop both business income and investment income components.
16. Determine the amount of income required to achieve financial freedom.
Besides T. Harv Ekerās signature book,
This book was also promoted & sold out at the Millionaire Mind Intensive:
Have you ever regretted not doing or saying something when you have had the chance to? And when you finally mustered up the courage to do so, itās too late? And it can only tug at your heart forever?
Was it not expressing your love & thanks to the ones who matter the most to you? Is it your parents or your partner? Your grandparents or your siblings? Folks who are always there for us and we have grown to take them for granted?
Take a moment to think about it. When was the last time youāve expressed your love & gratitude to your family? Why wasnāt it this morning? Itās not an Asian thing? Itās not cool?
Living in the Asian culture, weāre brought up to keep our feelings to ourselves. Itās not appropriate to say words of love or to hug or to do whatever right? Itās just the way things are & have been since the beginning of time.
We love our family, our parents, grandparents, sibling, partner, etc. We just donāt say it. Itās just weird & perceived to be crazy isnāt it?
However, if we donāt say it, how do they know? āThey should know whatā. Really?
If itās hard to pull the words out of your mouth, why not start with a letter, an email or a text? So that it wonāt be awkward š Surely itās better than having unfinished business?
This is one of the messages from the Millionaire Mind Intensive weekend which I really want to share with everyone.
Do not wait until itās too late.
If your relationships are going great, thatās fantastic. Reinforce it today by saying it & doing it.
And if your relationships have been strained, donāt you want to repair it & rekindle the love & warmth? Are you sure you really want to hate him/her forever and not talk it over? Especially if him/her meant something to you?
Hereās a song we sang at the Millionaire Mind Intensive which is really thought provoking. Pay attention to the lyrics & feel the song š
Every generation blames the one before
And all of their frustrations come beating on your door
I know that I’m a prisoner to all my father held so dear
I know that I’m a hostage to all his hopes and fears
I just wish I could have told him in the living years
Oh~ crumpled bits of paper filled with imperfect thoughts
Stilted conversations I’m afraid that’s all we’ve got
You say you just don’t see it, he says it’s perfect sense
You just can’t get agreement in this present tense
We all talk a different language, talking in defense
Say it loud, say it clear
You can listen as well as you hear
It’s too late when we die
To admit we don’t see eye to eye
So we open up a quarrel between the present & the past
We only sacrifice the future it’s the bitterness that lasts
So don’t yield to the fortunes you sometimes see as fate
It may have a new perspective on a different date
And if you don’t give up and don’t give in
You may just be O.K.
(Say it) x 3 loud, say it clear
You can listen as well as you hear
It’s too late when we die
To admit we don’t see eye to eye
I wasn’t there that morning when my father passed away
I didn’t get to tell him all the things I had to say
I think I caught his spirit later that same year
I’m sure I heard his echo in my baby’s new born tears
I just wish I could have told him in the living years
Say it loud, say it clear
You can listen as well as you hear
It’s too late when we die
To admit we don’t see eye to eye
Say it loud, say it clear, say it loud
Don’t give up ,don’t give in
And don’t know what you can do next
It was a weekend of energy, energy & energy!!! Even though this is not my first time attending the Millionaire Mind Intensive, the learnings & reaffirmations is still fantastic š Going through the exercises, I thought I already know it all since Iāve been here before. However I realized how much life has taken a toll on me.
Hahaā¦ok, itās not as bad as it sounds =P Let me elaborate.
Going through the courses & seminars over the past year, at the seminar itself, Iām pumped up with positive energy, ideas & beliefs.
Of course right. Everyone in the room is like-minded with a common goal of growing to become a better person. We are all there to support each other in our journey & light bulb moments.
All is good until I return to the real world.
Yes, Iāll still be hyped. Positive. Energy. Ideals. The question is, for how long? Well, it depends. Maybe a few days to a few weeks?
I usually do my best to share what Iāve learnt & spread the energy around after I return from the seminars. However as all these get slammed by the great wall of life, my enthusiasm diminishes over time too. Subtlety. Like weathering. Slowly and surely.
It may not be obvious at first. Just like the story of the frog who doesnāt feel the heat when placed in water that was slowly heated to boil.
So, it was great returning to the Millionaire Mind Intensive to reconnect with the energy & positivity!!
Anyway, enough of my long-winded introduction. My objective of writing this blog post is to share what Iāve learnt at the Millionaire Mind Intensive last weekend.
One of my biggest take-away is a statement that Robert Riopel shared with us. āNothing has meaning except for the meaning we give itā. True or true? š *Ponder**Ponder**Ponder* And our mind will start to interpret & give its own meaning to this statement. Right? *Grin*
Our mind is the worldās greatest soap opera writer ever. Literally. Sometimes the ātruthā that our mind comes up with is so intriguing that we can film a blockbuster movie with it. So, is this a good thing or a bad thing? Well, it depends.
It depends on whether our mind is weaving an empowering story or a limiting alternate truth. Do we buy into the positivity or get beaten by the story? In essence, angel versus devil.
In the end, everything that our mind comes up with is only our own perceived truth isnāt it. That is why majority of the trainers usually say āDonāt believe a word I say as itās coming from my own experience.ā
This is especially true when we are giving meaning to the future. Events that has yet to happen. So, my question is āIs the meaning you are giving to your future a good one?ā If not, why not? And what are you doing about it? Or should I be asking, are you doing anything about it? š
PS: I will be doing my best to share more of my learnings from the Millionaire Mind Intensive. Meanwhile if you’ll like to learn more and faster, this is the book authored by T. Harv Eker, the creator of the Millionaire Mind Intensive seminar.
