Time for Christmas feasting again! 😀
Considering my age, thankfully there were only 2 hotel buffet feasting sessions during this Christmas season. Especially since I aspire to try everything at the buffet, as much as possible 😛
First stop, 10@Claymore at Pan Pacific Orchard Hotel.
Thanks to HSBC Credit Card Promotion, we enjoyed 25% off our total bill. This reduced 10@Claymore hotel buffet from S$42++ to S$31.5++. Sweet~
And sweet it was. Wow wow wow at 10@Claymore’s desserts, all nicely decorated with Christmas ornaments. All screaming, “Eat me!”
The shutterbug in me simply couldn’t resist giving each of them a close up shot 😀
I enjoyed most of Pan Pacific Hotel buffet’s desserts except for their shot glass puddings & their durian cake which reminds me of the long brown durian cake/stick/paste. Artificial.
Of course, I’m more demanding when it comes to durian being an unwavering bitter Mao Shan Wang (Mountain Cat) consumer. So my opinion could be biased, similar to my critique of Concorde Spices Café Peranakan Buffet’s Otah.
There were also feedbacks that the yellow & brown layered cake was very sour. It is indeed pretty sour and I kind of enjoyed the slightly torturous sourly kick 😛
Being a tea-lover, Pan Pacific Orchard Hotel really won me over with their Artisan Selection of Gryphon Tea at its buffet. How I wish I could try them all!
I’m usually underwhelmed by hotel buffets’ Christmas seasonal dishes. Hats off to 10@Claymore for winning me over!
For the 1st time ever, I helped myself to a 2nd serving of Christmas Honey Baked Ham!
10@Claymore also has a Festive Season Plates of Pleasure Menu for us to order (repeatedly).
This is the 1st time I enjoyed my Turkey. Their deep fried Turkey Escalope won thumbs up from around the table. Yummy! If only I have space for another serving 🙁
Other dishes I enjoyed were 10@Claymore’s Baked Beer Drumlet & Seared Salmon with Pesto Cream Sauce. Especially the Salmon.
Needless to say, all of us enjoyed our team lunch at 10@Claymore. Their service was also impeccable. We were well taken care of with just the right degree/amount of attention. Their chef even posed for me when he spotted me taking photos 😀

Oh, for sashimi lovers, 10@Claymore has both salmon and salmon tummy sashimi.
