This was something I whipped up with food remaining from previous cooks, and items fast approaching expiry. I ended up enjoying the taste and simplicity of how everything came together, and decided to document this down.
Just in case I need some help/reference recalling in the future.
Ingredients
1 hamburger bun
1 egg
1 stalk of spring onion
10g butter
30g shredded cheese
Cooking Steps
- Wash & cut off the root of the spring onion
- Chop the spring onion into small pieces (garnishing size)
- Beat the egg
- Cut the hamburger bun into halves
- Spread butter on the inside of each half
- Soak up the egg with the inside of each half for 5mins
- Flip the hamburger bun over
- Sprinkle chopped spring onion over each half
- Sprinkle shredded cheese over each half
- Pour any remaining egg over the buns
- Air fry at 160°C for 6-8mins until golden brown
