Seeing how everyone waited a good 10-20mins for me to take photo, this has to be my next post. Well, almost everyone haha…this is also a testament to the goodness of Din Tai Fung’s Panda Chocolate Bun 熊猫巧克力包 @ RM24.14 👍
鼎泰丰’s Chicken Soup 元盅鸡汤 @ RM21.98 also received the thumbs up from our seasoned chicken soup connoisseur 👍
Din Tai Fung’s Pork Xiao Long Bao 小笼包 @ RM18.10 is also a must have dish, that’s hard to go wrong 👍
My only “complain” is, 鼎泰丰’s Rice Vinegar 米醋 is not sour enough. I like to soak my Xiao Long Bao in vinegar for the punch, which is absent in this case 😑
Another highlight of going to Din Tai Fung is their fried rice. While the flavour is okay, the shrimps in 鼎泰丰’s Shrimp Egg Fried Rice 虾仁蛋炒饭 @ RM27.59 weren’t deveined 😑 They weren’t the big bouncy prawns I was expecting either 🤔
I’m on the fence with Din Tai Fung’s dry & over-fried Crispy Prawn Cake 腐皮虾饼 @ RM20.69 🤷♀️
鼎泰丰’s Shrimp & Pork Shaomai 虾仁烧卖 @ RM22.41 is…lacking in the 虾鲜味 👎
And I mistook Din Tai Fung’s Peanut Rice Ball in Soya Bean 豆浆花生汤圆 @ RM12.50 as 豆花 😂 It’ll be nicer if the skin of its rice ball is thinner. Can?
